“The one-man tribunal has adjourned the hearing on Younus's appeal until May 15 and on that day appeals against Shoaib Malik and Rana Naved-ul-Hasan will also be heard,” Pakistan Cricket Board legal adviser Talib Rizvi told reporters.
Malik and Naved had requested their case to be heard a week earlier than the scheduled May 22 date.
Younus's lawyer Ahmed Qayyum said the hearing was adjourned after some of the statements made against his client were handed to him at the last minute.
“The tribunal wanted us to argue on the allegations against Younus five minutes after handing them to us, so we requested for the adjournment because we have to study these statements,” Qayyum told AFP.
Qayyum criticised the leaking of the inquiry committee's report to the media on Friday.
“We have also raised objection on the leakage of the report and it's very clear that it's done with a malafide intentions against Younus,” said Qayyum.
The report said several Pakistani players accused Younus of being an arrogant captain.
“If Younus was arrogant and players were against him, how come Pakistan win a major tournament?” said Qayyum of Pakistan's World Twenty20 success.
